A mood board is a visual tool that helps you communicate your design concepts and ideas. It’s a selected collection of photos, objects, colour palettes, text, and other items that are designed to express a specific style or vibe.
Originally, I was instructed to create a mood board about my aspirations for my future in the media industry and I created two for different pathways that I may like to explore, broadcast journalism and film creation. I’ve always been interested and passionate in possibly even incorporating both by being in the background of the film set and industry such as being a film producer but also being a celebrity reporter for important film events.
Upon more research and thought, my love for film is so special and close to my heart and the mood board that I created to build on my first two attempts, came out like this.
These images reflect the life I strive to live in the future and the aspiration that I am trying to work for to work in my desired field. I want to be put behind a camera and discover the world of film and everything that comes with it as I believe that it is my passion and what I see myself doing.
